Following is a comprehensive list of skeletal disorders and disease:

Bursitis: This is a painful skeletal disorder which affects body joints. Shoulder and hip joints are worst affected areas of the human body from this skeletal disorder. This skeletal disorder is usually caused by inflamed bursas, which are tiny fluid filled bags that perform the function of providing lubrication to the muscles to move smoothly over bones. This painful condition results from an extreme physical activity involving legs and arms.

Osteoporosis: This painful skeletal disorder results from the loss of bone tissues. In this disease, the cancellous bones start to lose calcium, and turn extremely thinner and a point comes when they disappear all together.

Sprains: In this skeletal disorder the tissue or ligament covering a joint suffers from an acute injury. Sprain in most cases results from a tissue rip off from the ligaments. Sprain area soon swells, and transforms in to a black and blue colored area. Sprain in many instances leads to extremely acute and sharp pain.

Fractures: fracture refers to a broken bone and there are several different types of fractures like closed fracture: in which the bone breaks within the skin and flesh, open fractures: in this fracture, the bone protrudes out of the skin. Multiple fracture is one in which the bone breaks at several points. Comminuted fracture is one in which the broken bone is in the form of smashed particles. In greenstick fracture broken bone hangs at one end. While in spiral fracture the breakage is in spiral form.

Spina Bifidia: This is another skeletal disorder; it is a spinal defect and is caused by certain genetic factors. In this disease formation of spinal cord is not proper, as vertebrae and skin are unable to create a proper formation around it.

These are some of the prominent skeletal disorder and diseases, and they can be overcome through proper treatment, and proper precautions.

Rashes are a problem generally found in young children, there are several common causes of rashes in children, which are discussed in the following text.

Food Allergies: One common cause of rashes in children has been identified as food allergies. Rashes that are usually caused by food allergies, give a look of hives on child’s skin. These particular food allergy related skin rashes are red in color, having resemblance with a sand paper texture. These allergies are usually found around child’s anus or mostly on child’s face. You can easily detect, food allergy as the main cause of your child’s skin rash, as there would be other symptoms present, like runny nose, constantly occurring ear infection, and constant night walking.

Contact Dermatitis. Contact dermatitis is another form of rash commonly found in children. Common symptoms of contact dermatitis are oozing blisters accompanied with swelling. Common causes of this type of rash in children are use of skin products containing deadly preservatives, use of cosmetics and fragrances. This particular skin rash can also turn worse, with the use of rubber, nickel, and skin screen as these are termed common skin irritants.

In order to avoid this painful skin rash, its best that use of harsh soaps, cleaners, and detergents should be avoided, as these chemically rich detergents play their destructive role in depriving the skin of it’s natural protective layer of moisture.

Virus: Another common cause of skin rashes in children is virus. It’s quite easy to detect virus related skin rash, as the child will have fever along with it. This virus appears in the form of different skin infections like chicken pox, coxsackie, fifth disease, and roseola. All of these virul infections have contagious tendencies, therefore the child suffering from virus related skin infections should be kept in isolation for some time.

Heat: It is also termed as one of the common cause of skin rash in children; heat related skin rashes are pimply and commonly found on neck and upper back. Heat related pimples can be cured by applying powder and limiting child’s exposure to heat.

Main cause of wrist pain in women is the carpal tunnel syndrome, which usually affects pregnant women, in their second and third trimesters.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is described as a condition in which, the median nerve that passes below the transverse ligament present in the wrist becomes compressed. Besides this wrist pain women in most cases have been found to suffer from an unusual and painful swelling that emerges over the wrist. This swelling is as hard as a bone which is accompanied with mild pain. This specific wrist pain that is usually found in women is known as Ganglion.

Ganglion can affect women of any age whether they are teenagers or in their sixties, as all women regardless of their age are prone to suffer from this disease. Main cause of ganglia wrist pain in women has been defined as a developmental defect in the capsule or tendon sheath.

This specific wrist pain in women can be cured through multiple treatments. It can be cured through injections of steroid or hylase, or aspiration. Also patient herself can use on daily basis wide bore needle for producing multiple punctures followed by a gentle massage of the wrist. If these two treatments fail to cure the root cause of wrist pain in women, than it’s surgically operated.

Besides pregnancy menopause is also termed as the key cause of wrist pain in women. As, it has been observed that number of wrist fractures in women approaching their menopause increases twofold. Main reason associated with this form of wrist pain in women is a gradual loss of bones after menopause.

Causes of wrist pain in women can be limited to a considerable level, through a proper intake of vitamin D and calcium, and by performing weight bearing exercises, as these are some of the effective ways through which bone density can be preserved.

Before moving on to the list of rare genetic diseases in children, first let’s define the term genetic diseases in children. These are those diseases that children inherit from their parents. Modern science has discovered that majority of the rare diseases found in human beings are a result of genetic disorders. These rare genetic diseases appear in the early years of one’s life, and almost 30% of young children suffering from rare genetic diseases, die during the early years of their life.

Following is the list of some of the more common genetic diseases in children:

Cystic fibrosis: this is a rare genetic disease in children commonly found in those who have European ancestry. Causes of this rare disease lie in the genes of children, however through modern research; diagnosis of this rare genetic disease in children can be made possible even before the child is born. If parents suspect that their newborn can have this rare genetic disease, than the mother has to undergo a series of genetic tests.

Congenital Hip Dislocation: This is also one of the rare genetic diseases in children, which causes hip dislocations in young children; this very genetic disorder is diagnosed as soon the baby is born.

Congenital heart defects: It is also one of the rare genetic diseases in children, which causes abnormalities in the heart structure, it has been estimated that about 8 out of every 1000, new born babies are affected by this heart defect.

Fragile X syndrome: Fragile X syndrome is a rare genetic disease in children, yet it is termed as one of the most commonly occurring inherited types of intellectual disability. This rare genetic disease effects 1 male child in 4000, and 1 female child in 6,000 to 8,000 female births.

These are some of the most rarely occurring genetic diseases in children; however the complete list of rare genetic diseases in children is quite long and complex.

It has been estimated that during pregnancy around 50 to 80% women suffer from back pain. Back pain usually surfaces during fifth month of the pregnancy and lasts till seventh month. Interestingly in some cases back pain during pregnancy has been observed to appear as early as eight to twelve weeks of pregnancy.

Though back pain is commonly observed in many pregnant women, still it requires proper care and cure; otherwise negligence on the part of a pregnant woman can lead to extremely painful results. Pregnant women usually suffer from two different types of back pains, lower back pain and the upper back pain.

There are certain causes associated with lower back pain during pregnancy. However the most common cause of lower back pain during pregnancy is extra strain exerted on lower back muscles due to improper bending and stretching. Improper bending and stretching is unable to support the natural balance of the lower back muscles, which ultimately results in to excruciating lower back pain.

It’s best that one should completely avoid causes of the lower back pain during pregnancy, if you unluckily get a lower back pain during pregnancy, then its best that you should consult your physician. But if you feel that the pain is mild, then use hot water bottle or take a hot shower.

Upper back pain in comparison to the lower back pain is extremely painful. There are several causes of upper back pain during pregnancy. Lower back and abdominal muscles and ligaments are loosened by the rising level of pregnancy hormones, so that baby can be properly accommodated in the abdominal region. Another reason is the increased size of uterus, as it creates increased pressure on the ribs.

Pregnant women gain 25 % additional weight which becomes one of the significant causes of upper back pain during pregnancy. These causes of upper back pain during pregnancy can be avoided to great extent, if pregnant women maintain a proper posture while sitting and standing. There are also some effective pregnancy exercises that can be done to overcome the causes of upper back pain during pregnancy.

There are several neurological disorder symptoms in adults, which signal a neurological problem in an adult nervous system. First one should understand the details of human nervous system, before moving ahead to the nervous disorder symptoms in adults.

Human nervous system is composed of two parts, the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. Central nervous system is composed of brain and spinal cord, which performs the function of central processing station. On the other hand the peripheral nervous system is responsible for the transmission of sensory information between the muscles, tissues and nerves in the rest of the body to the brain.Neurological disorder symptoms in adults become evident when these crucial connections are disturbed or disrupted. Most of the neurological disorder symptoms start in the peripheral nervous system and the patient usually suffers from sensitivity, numbness, prickling sensation, muscle weakness or paralysis.

These neurological disorder symptoms are mostly a result of local injury, trauma, or systematic illness. In many cases neurological disorder symptoms can be a result of one or more nerves. Carpal tunnel syndrome is a neurological disorder in adults and its commonly found symptom is a compressed nerve that deprives brain of the proper blood flow. Neurological syndrome symptoms in adults can also result from autoimmune diseases, or certain viruses like the human immunodeficiency virus, Epstein Barr, or varicella zoster.

Other life threatening neurological disorder symptoms in adult related to the malfunctioning of the autonomic nervous system are interruption in the involuntary actions like perspiration, breathing, swallowing, or bladder control. These symptoms in some conditions can be accompanied with other symptoms like low blood pressure, dizziness, loss of consciousness, or vertigo.

If you find someone suffering from any of these neurological disorder symptoms, it’s best that you contact a doctor, or call 911 for immediate medical care.

There are two popular knee injury treatment options; first one is the knee injuries treatment through home remedies, while the second one is based on medical treatment. Following are the home based knee injuries treatment options, which are known for their extreme effectiveness.

Rest: Best way of overcoming knee injury and pain is to take sufficient amount of rest. Ample amount of rest will prevent you from further damaging your knee. Otherwise worsening knee injury can even lead to knee joint replacement.

Elevate: Knee injury is often painful, and the injured area easily gets swollen. All this can be avoided by elevating the injured knee.

Ice Compresses: Another best way to control knee injury swelling and pain is to use ice packs for a time period of 15-20 minutes, 4 times a day. It is advisable that ice should not be applied directly on the skin; it should be applied over the injured knee while wrapped in a towel.

Pain relief medicines: Medicines that should be consumed to lower the pain and swelling of the knee injury are ibuprofen and naproxen. These two medicines are considered ideal pain killers for knee injury pain and swelling. Use of acetaminophen is also beneficial in relieving knee injury pain.

Medical treatment for knee injury:

If an injured knee is extremely swollen and causing acute pain, in this situation doctor may find it difficult to provide an accurate examination immediately. In such a situation, MRI or CT scan is recommended, in order to detect fracture, or damage to the soft tissues.

Another knee injury treatment option can be the placement of injured knee in immobilizer and a follow-up with an orthopedic doctor. In order to relieve you of the knee injury pain, doctor can tap out the excess fluid from the knee.

This will eventually help out the physician in diagnosing the real causes behind knee injury, which will for sure help him in devising an accurate treatment too.

Herzberg hygiene factors and motivators, is a popular theory, which was formulated specially for the betterment of the working classes, that how a work environment in any organization can be maintained and improved for the overall good of the working community.

Herzberg outlines hygiene needs in the following way:

Policy

Relationship with supervisor

Work conditions

Salary

Company car

Status

Security

Relationship with subordinates

Personal life

While motivator factors outlined by Herzberg are as follows:

Achievement

Recognition

Work itself

Responsibility

Advancement

Herzberg through a rigorous research found that factors responsible for job satisfaction, were completely poles apart from the ones involved in the dissatisfaction of job. Here it is important to note that Herzberg called satisfiers as motivators, and termed causes of dissatisfaction as hygiene.

Herzberg was also of the view, that though apparently factors leading to satisfaction are at an extreme opposition to factors causing dissatisfaction, still these two apparently poles apart feelings cannot be treated as opposites.

He coined a new and unique opposite of satisfaction and dissatisfaction. In his view satisfaction always stands in opposition to not dissatisfaction, while dissatisfaction is always placed in opposition to no dissatisfaction.

Herzberg is of the view that true motivational factors that are integral for creating satisfaction can only possibly be attained through the job itself, as he is of the view that motivation factors that affect dissatisfaction and no dissatisfaction are an integral part of one’s work. Hence external factors of motivation, which he terms as KITA, which stands for, kick in the A@@, only yields short term results as these motivational factors function outside the work itself, hence leading to very little productive results.

Therefore Herzberg is of the view that to increase motivational levels of workforce, management should not solely focus on providing people with hygiene, but should also focus on providing them with intensives that are a key part of their work , because that shall ultimately lead to complete job satisfaction.

Herzberg is of the view that employees should be provided with best congenial environment, where they can utilize their skills to the fullest.
